MEETING 8th July – WCF OData Services

If you’re finding the evenings chilly at the moment then one option (which I remember being employed at CodeCampOz a few years ago) is to write a small application on your laptop that runs an infinite loop. Your CPU will keep you toasty warm!

Another way to warm up (which is almost certainly less wearing on your laptop hardware) is to come along to the July meeting of ADNUG..
WCF OData Services with Jeremy Huppatz
Jeremy will provide a quick overview of WCF OData Services using Entity Framework to quickly scaffold out a functioning data service capable of retrieving data and returning it to a simple data query application. He will also discuss this approach in the context of enterprise service-oriented architectures and the kinds of situations where you might use this solution rather than a tightly bound data client.
Wednesday, July 8th, 6pm
Marcellina Adelaide, 273 Hindley St, Adelaide
